    Fantastic little place. We had a double room and it had a balcony and hammock. The room was a good size and had a ceiling fan and you could pay a dollar for air con. It was very clean and the kitchens were very well equipped. The staff were lovely and very knowledgeable on the area. Could not fault it!

    I stayed here for half a week in August and my stay was exceptional. I stayed in a private single room. The accommodations were clean, comfortable, quiet and a great value for the price. The pool and common areas were charming. The staff were efficient, friendly and incredibly helpful when it to came to suggestions for restaurants and excursions. You can tell they enjoy their work. I also recommend going to the Aussie BBQ that's hosted at their sister hostel on Monday nights.

    From reading the reviews we expected a good experience but we were wrong....we had FANTASTIC time! From booking our activities and transport (thanks Helen!) to the general chilled vibe of the place, I've never experienced anything better in all my travels and will whole heartedly recommend this hostel to any traveller wanting to stay in Cairns. Keep up the good work guys!
