Day 1 – Cairns 14,000ft Skydive!

Skydiving Itinerary

(Depending on what time you choose for your skydive – 8 am or 11 am) Below is based on the 11 am 1045 – Bus transfer from your Cairns City accommodation

  • 1145 – Arrive just outside of Innisfail at the Skydive headquarters
  • 1200 – Meet & Greet
  • 1230 – Tuition
  • 1300 – Gear up
  • 1330 – Groups start taking off
  • 1345 – Reach max for jump
  • 1350 – Jump
  • 1356 – Land on either park or beach
  • 1400 – Once you have completed your jump you can use the facilities at the headquarters of swimming pool, table tennis or watch TV
  • 1600 – Depart the skydive headquarters
  • 1700 – Arrive back to your accommodation

Additional Information

  • Please note: Persons weighing over 95 kg’s may incur an extra charge.
  • Maximum weight for skydiving is 110 kilos
  • Australian Parachute Federation Levy is payable on the day.
  • If you are staying at Northern Beaches accommodation bus transfers are extra pay on board.

Day 2 – Great Barrier Reef Cruise

Important Information for Scuba Diving

We have a passion to show you Australia’s Great Barrier Reef so please make sure you understand the scuba diving laws.

Queensland, Australia has some of the strictest scuba diving rules in the world  but also the safest scuba diving record.   We are regulated by the Queensland Government Code of Practice and comply with all rules including medical as is the law.

To avoid disappointment on your day of travel we strongly recommend that all of our passengers complete our dive medical questionnaire prior to booking as some medical conditions, age and / or medications may prevent you from scuba diving.   It is always our mission to provide our passengers with the very best Great Barrier Reef experience.

Flying after Scuba Diving
For a single no decompression scuba dive, you should not fly or go to altitude for at least 18 hours after a scuba dive.  For multiple dives you should not fly for 24 hours after your last dive. If Skydiving or Hot Air Ballooning you must wait 24 hours after your dive. We recommend waiting a minimum 24 hours whenever possible

Day 3 – White Water Rafting

The Tully River is Australia’s most famous white water rafting adventure. An action packed experience filled day with fun, thrills and spills on a day you will never forget. Join the thousands of people every year who raft the Tully River in this extreme five hour white water adventure in remote World Heritage Rainforest.

Commence rafting and negotiate up to 45 rapids of varying degrees which include the unforgettable “Alarm Clock”, “Wet & Moisty”, “Stair Case” and the dramatic “Theatre” – all before a riverside BBQ lunch  opposite “Ponytail Falls” where time is made to recharge your batteries. With a full stomach, we send you off to the afternoon’s remaining rapids, and if you dare, take the plunge and try raft surfing, rapid swimming and rock jumping with your guide! At  the end of the day, pack up your raft, change into dry clothes and head to Rafter’s Café in Tully where you can purchase snacks and even a few beers.

  • 06:30 – Pick-ups from Cairns accommodation commence
  • 07:00 – Depart Cairns
  • 07:30 – Pick-ups from Mission Beach accommodation
  • 08:00 – Depart Mission Beach
  • 08:30 – Arrive at Rafters Cafe & Bar for morning tea and coffee
  • 09:00 – Depart Rafters Cafe & Bar
  • 09:45 – Arrive at top of the Tully River for a safety demonstration and to be supplied with safety equipment
  • 10:00 – Commence rafting. Brave the first few rapids, including the “Alarm Clock”, the dramatic “Theatre”, “Staircase” and “Wet and Moisty”
  • 12:15 – Arrive at lunch spot, Ponytail Falls for a riverside BBQ lunch to recharge for the afternoon
  • 12:45 – Commence afternoon rafting, riding more rapids, including the “Double D Cup”, “Zig Zag”, and “Minefield”
  • 15:00 – Arrive at take out point. Pack up raft and change into dry clothes
  • 15:45 – Arrive at Rafters Cafe & Bar. View video highlights and group photos of the day whilst enjoying afternoon refreshments with your guide. Photos and DVDs are available for purchase
