How to get there
Pick up included from Cairns Reef Fleet Terminal. Meet us at Bus Bay #7, Reef Fleet Terminal, 1 Spence St, Cairns Marina – 15 minutes before your tour time.
Alternatively we can pick you up from your Cairns City accommodation for an adiditional fee. Please contact operator directly after your booking is made to arrange.
Important Information
- Age: Anyone 12 years or older. Guests under the age of 18 years must have a parent or guardian sign on their behalf & will need to be accompanied by a parent / guardian. We have had people in their mid 80’s – 90’s on our experiences, as long as you are comfy on your feet and feel confident with your fitness levels for participation then you are welcome to join us.
- Fitness levels: We accept your challenge and cater to everyone’s pace, size & ability.
- Swimming abilities: Guests need to have a very basic level of confidence to manovere in the water.
- Medical Conditions: Participants should disclose any medical conditions (including allergies) at time of booking, that way we can best cater to everyone on the day. As our tours are a physically demanding adventure there are some medical conditions, impairments or disabilities may exclude participants from participation for safety reasons including but not limited to pregnancy, spinal injuries, some neck injuries.

Itinerary Overview
- Begin your adventure with pick-up from Cairns CBD at the Reef Fleet Terminal
- On arrival at the base, you’ll be welcomed with a gear fitting and full safety briefing
- Then, enjoy a 25-minute scenic drive to the stunning Crystal Cascades
- After a 20 minute rainforest walk, you’ll arrive at the start of the canyon
- Next, spend approximately 2 hours canyoning – including abseils, rock jumps, swims, and rainforest exploration
- Once finished, dry off and change into dry clothes before continuing
- Back at the base, relax and relive the highlights while viewing your tour photos and videos
- Finally, return drop-off in Cairns CBD wraps up your half-day canyoning experience
