Ocean Quest PADI Advanced Open Water – 2 Day/1Night Liveaboard Twin Share
Advance your scuba skills while living and diving on the Outer Great Barrier Reef aboard OceanQuest.
The OceanQuest PADI Advanced Open Water 2 Day/1 Night Liveaboard combines professional PADI training with an overnight reef adventure.
Operated by Divers Den, this course is designed for certified divers ready to develop their underwater skills.
Over two action-packed days, complete five Adventure Dives required for your PADI Advanced Open Water certification.
You will also spend one night aboard OceanQuest in comfortable twin-share accommodation.
Instead of returning to Cairns after your first day, stay overnight directly on the Great Barrier Reef.
Therefore, you gain more reef time and experience different diving conditions throughout your stay.
About Your PADI Advanced Open Water Course
The PADI Advanced Open Water Diver Course helps certified divers develop greater confidence and underwater experience.
Rather than spending your course entirely in a classroom, you learn through practical Adventure Dives.
You will complete five Adventure Dives during your course.
The Deep Adventure Dive and Underwater Navigation Adventure Dive are required components.
You will then complete three additional Adventure Dives as part of your training program.
Your PADI Instructor provides briefings, training, supervision, and feedback throughout the course.
Consequently, you can develop new skills while experiencing real Great Barrier Reef diving conditions.
Two Days and One Night Aboard OceanQuest
OceanQuest provides a dedicated liveaboard experience on the Outer Great Barrier Reef.
During the day, explore selected reef locations through your training and recreational diving program.
Then, when other visitors return to Cairns, you remain offshore aboard OceanQuest.
Enjoy dinner, relax aboard the vessel, and experience an evening surrounded by the Great Barrier Reef.
The following morning, you wake up ready for another day of diving.
Therefore, your overnight stay provides considerably more immersion than a standard Cairns reef day trip.
Take your diving further on the Great Barrier Reef with the PADI Advanced Open Water Course aboard Divers Den’s liveaboard Ocean Quest. Over 2 days and 1 night on the outer reef you’ll complete five Adventure Dives, build your skills and confidence, and earn an internationally recognised PADI Advanced Open Water Diver certification — all while living out on the reef.
